Danfoss KVL crankcase pressure regulators are installed in the suction line of refrigeration systems. They are used to protect the compressor motor against overload experienced during startup after long off periods or just after defrost periods. Danfoss Crankcase pressure regulator type KVL is in the suction line ahead of the compressor.
