Y-pattern globe valves are generally used to regulate a fluid’s flow. Because of their design, they are recommended when a continuous flow with a minimum pressure drop is needed. Besides, they can be used in reduced spaces.
This type of valves must be installed in a specific position given its design and oriented operation features. For this reason, globe valves have an arrow that indicates the direction in which they must be installed.

Ascendant rod with a one entry ACME thread for a precise operation.
Rod packaging that allows an optimal control of fugitive emissions into the atmosphere. Essential factors such as reduced diametral clearance gap, controlled straightness and fine finish in the rod increase their seal capacity.
Posterior seal surface (Backseat) allows to change the rod package when the valve is completely open, and the interior is pressurized.

The stellite coating in the seat increases wear resistance caused by abrasion and erosion in the surfaces of the seal during the flow of fluid with solids in suspension.
